Work on the System began in 2021, its development and filling is taking place in stages.
The informative content of the analytical and search system consists of scientific and educational articles that reveal the conceptual and terminological apparatus of pedagogy and psychology.
The author team of UEEE consists of experts from the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. Leading experts in the field of pedagogy and psychology, members of the joint scientific research laboratories of the Institute of Digitalization of Education, scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers of higher pedagogical education institutions of Ukraine will be involved in writing articles, editing and filling with new content.
Auxiliary apparatus: modules for designing the bibliographic description of the article in different styles (DSTU 8302:2015, APA) and indicators of usage statistics. - What software is used?
"Ukrainian electronic encyclopedia of education" is implemented as a wiki resource based on the reliable free multilingual software platform MediaWiki, distributed in open access under the GNU license.
Thanks to the support of this software product by a wide community of users, there is an opportunity to expand and customize the encyclopedic project by connecting a significant number of plugins that will meet the outlined functional requirements. In particular, the use of the Semantic MediaWiki plugin will allow organizing the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the encyclopedia as a distributed knowledge base. - Who has access to edit content?
At the initial stage of the encyclopedia's operation, filling with electronic articles is carried out according to the principle of centralized document entry. Only a specific user or group of users from an institution that supports UEEE has the right to submit documents. Articles are added manually by the responsible editor and displayed immediately after saving.
Since the materials of the articles must be expertly verified, at the initial stage of encyclopedia formation, public depositing and editing of encyclopedic articles is not foreseen.
After 100% online publication of existing prepared materials is achieved, it is planned to move to distributed introduction of new content by persons responsible for thematic sections (section editors). - How to work with the system? The service is absolutely free and publicly accessible to everyone. Visitors can freely browse and search for reference information according to individually selected filters without going through the registration procedure. Registering and logging in to the system enables the reader to save selections of terms in his own collection. If you want to edit or propose a new term, you must use the feedback form.
- Are articles indexed in scientometric databases? UEEE articles are indexed by the scientometric database Google Scholar (Google Academy).
